cards wont load

hello

I have indexcards 7.4.9.0 and now the cards don't load.you say to delete installation and reload from store ,and then to restore from file.the problem is that your program cant be seen anywhere on my computer so please explain how to repair it or delte it. my email is rbea1@bezeqint.net.many thanks

Hi

sure!

1) First make sure you have done your backup of your data - see picture 1 - save this data file somewhere safe, like your desktop

2) in the windows Start menu you need to scroll down to Index Cards and then do right-click to uninstall - see picture 3

3) then in the Microsoft store do a search for Index Cards and you will find the app - then click to install it again from the store. (you will not be charged).

4) Then restore your data by going back to settings/backup and use the 'Restore from File' option.

If the work is backed up and stored on cloud how can the data be lost?

Thats a good question - there must have been/be some issue in data saving. we are currently working on some bug fixes which may be related. we will be issuing an update next week we'll keep an eye on this issue.

Ever since your latest update my cards won't load as the user above described. I have relied on your program to do my studying and now if all my data is lost I better get a refund or a fix as soon as possible. Why update something that was working already? You have a glitch that is not just with one person now and it needs to be fixed sooner than "next week"
